How to get us

By Air to Koh Samui 

The Plane Bangkok Airways is the fastest, easiest and most convienient way to reach the Island. Estimated flight time from all parts of Thailand is about 1-2 hours. There are many direct flights into Samui from Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi, Chiang Mai and Pattaya also direct International flights from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong kong and China. A cheaper option is to fly from Surat Thani which is on the mainland. Various airlines fly into Surat Thani including Nok Air, Thai Air Asia and Lion Air. You can book combination tickets which include the Flight + Bus + Ferry to and from Koh Samui.

Note:- Bangkok Airports.  Suvarnabhumi (Main International Airport) and Don Muang (Low Cost Airport) are seperate airports in different areas of Bangkok. Please leave enough time if you have connecting flights.

Bus to Koh Samui

 

The coach is very easy. Several companies have established connections. Buses run several times daily from Bangkok (Southern Bus Terminal) or the Lomprayah Company located at Ko San Road in Bangkok. The estimated travel time is about 12 hours. The crossing by ferry takes another 1.5 hours. Traveling from Phuket, Krabi and Koh Phi Phi to Koh Samui takes approximatly 4-5 hours and the cost is approximatly 500 Baht including the ferry ticket.

 

Train to Koh Samui

The night sleeper train from Bangkok to Surat Thani is a comfortable, exciting and an easy way to travel which takes about 15 hours total travelling time from Bangkok to Samui. Train + Bus + Ferry. Combination tickets can be booked at the many travel agents in Bangkok or directly and cheaper at the train station in Bangkok (Hualamphong Railway Station).  We recommend you choose an airconditioned sleeper and book your tickets in advance as demand is high any time of the year.

 

Transport On Samui

Public Transport

Shared public transport on the Island is the Sangthaew, a small red pick up truck with benches for passengers along each side of the truck. Destinations for any given Songthaew will be displayed on the side and at the front. The basic routes are Na Thon - Chaweng - Lamai and Na Thon - Big Buddha - Chaweng. Inform the driver where you are going before you get onto the Songthaew so that he knows where you are going. They do not always follow the same route.

 

Yellow Taxi

These are available ask the price before departure as there are NO METER TAXI on the Island.

 

Samui International Airport:- 15 Minutes to Chaweng Beach Road. Shared Transfer is available at the airport counter service.

Seatran Ferry Pier, 45 Minutes from the ferry pier at Na Thon to Chaweng Beach. Shared transfers are available at the Seatran Ferry Terminal and also available onboard the ferry. 

Raja Ferry Pier, 45 Minutes from the ferry pier at Lipa Noi Pier there is a  minivan transfer service available. You can check schedule at Raja Ferry ‘s counter sales staff when you buy the ferry ticket.
