Ratchathammaram / Sila Ngu Temple. This is the temple (Known as "Wat" in Thai) in the centre of the island, and it’s also one of the most well-known monuments. The Golden SilaNgu Pagoda has Buddha’s relics enshrined inside, and the locals regularly visit to worship their God. The red Buddhist Temple, pictured below, is a sculpture built from the donations of Buddhists within Thailand. The red lace around the temple is inspired by Sri Vichaiand Bayon styles of art, reminiscent of the previous Kingdoms that ruled within Thailand.

Wat Khunaram This temple on Koh Samui is knwon for its mummified monk. Thai people call "Loung Pordaeng′. The monk Loung Pordaeng died in 1973 in the seated meditative position and still can be seen today preserved.
